| Cole Civils - Project Update |
|
Cole Civils have just completed
a new bespoke self storage
centre in Maidstone for Big Box Storage.
Throughout the project, Cole Civils & Construction also acted as the CDM coordinator, managing the health and safety aspects of the project. This included working in close proximity to the public on a very active site.
All of the engineering was developed between Cole Civils & Construction and Brian Page & Architects with its in-house engineer.This partnership provided a complete service to the client and any savings made have been passed on in the overall project costs. This design & build scheme that was completed within budget and on time.

AC Interior Projects Ltd have just completed installation of new high quality office accommodation for Brian Yeardley Continental Ltd, the international haulage contractor, who have relocated their Kent depot from Lenham to Connect 10 Business Park, Ashford.

| ACFG Easter Gift for Children's Ward |
|
Members of the Ashford Construction Focus Group, part of the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce-were on hand at the William Harvey Hospital to present the Children's Ward with a special gift for Easter. Two brand new flat screen TV's were delivered in the buckets of a JCB excavator. ACFG Chairman, Albert Walton commented
"The ACFG are delighted to donate something that will benefit the Children's wards in the long term."

| GSE Design & Build and MLM Building Control - Project Update |
|
GSE Design & Build and MLM Building Control both long term members of the ACFG have successfully worked together on several new projects, these include:
- The completion of a new Hotel in Folkestone for Holiday Inn Express at Cheriton Parc. This brand new hotel has 100 air conditioned en suite rooms, just off junction 12 of the M20. Construction value £4.8 million
- The erection of a shell and core Hotel and drive through restaurant at Eureka Park in Ashford.
- A new Household waste/ re-cycling centre for the Waster Recycling Group at Pepper Hill near Gravesend.
This relationship developed through the membership of the ACFG and is an ideal example of local companies providing the necessary skills and experience to deliver a series of successful buildings within the local area.
Both companies continue to work together and have several current projects in the local area and is an ideal example of the benefits of membership to the ACFG.
